Vay-vay-vay (v. 14)[edit]

The comment about the series of prefixes "connoting onomatopeically reluctance and misery" (Liebowitz p. 270, fn 1) doesn't make sense to me. I see the prefixes starting with the letter vav, but why does the onomatopeia with this letter connote reluctance and misery? Is there some Hebrew word that sounds like this with this connotation? Perhaps I shouldn't have added the comment since I don't understand it.... --RobertC 23:02, 11 Mar 2006 (UTC)
