Personal reflections[edit]
I notice in these days that the lord blesses the people that are righteous with long life and lots of posterity. It is interesting to see how the blessings change from generation to generation. Some are blessed with riches or skills, others are blessed with a big family, others are blessed with long life. --Bhardle 18:25, 27 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Well, I was just wondering why all these chapters were included in the Book of Mormon. They could practically be the same chapter. They all seem to follow the pattern of rebelliousness in the kingdom. First a king will rule and things will be ok for awhile, but then a son or brother of the king will become prideful and hence, envious of their relative's power. This usually results in a war, murder, or the very least a plot to murder. Next the king's power will be usurped and the king will have to spend the rest of his days in captivity. The next thing that happens is the king will have a ton of children while in captivity and one of those children will rebel against their sibling/uncle captor. Then that detainee will somehow gain enough strength and followers to overthrow the king. The loyal son of the once former king then hands over the kingdom to his father and everything is fine and dandy for a couple of years until the whole cycle repeats itself. Anyway, I was just wondering why these chapters were included. --User:Darthdunford83 12 Dec 2005 (UTC)
