Hi Travis, I removed your question:
- Why does the Lord send Enos out to preach as soon as he grant him forgiveness?
I did so for two reasons:
- I didn't see anywhere (did I miss it?) where it says that the Lord sends Enos to preach.
- I don't think that this verse 19 should be taken to imply that Enos went about preaching as soon as he was granted forgiveness. Remember Enos is summarizing his whole life in 27 verses. Given this I don't think we should assume that something written in a verse happens necessarily right after whatever happened in the previous verse. I don't think the scriptures tell us either way--whether he went to preach immediately or went preaching some time later.
