  • vv. 42-45: Why does Alma tell them of the redemption of the body? How does this function in his call to repentance?
  • v.44: There are five lists of opposites like this one in the Book of Mormon that include "female" in the list. In each case, "female" is on the "positive" side - it is here paired with "young," "free," "righteous." With specific references to females being so limited in the Book of Mormon, what do we learn from this interesting pairing?
