Exegesis
Alma 43: 47 The Lord gives us comandments that we should not kill, yet he sayes that we must defend our families even unto the shedding of blood. I find this a statement to man of the importance of the family. I have always known ever since being a little child that my family was important, not only to me but to God. This is just more evidence of the sacred nature of the family.
