Questions
In verse 3, what is the meaning of the phrase "table of thine heart"? The same phrase is also repeated in 2 Corinthians 3:3 as "table of the heart." Is table a shortened form of tablet? And so just as Moses brought down stone tablets from the mountain, we are to write the commandments on the [fleshy] tablets (table) of our hearts?
