I will focus here on Rom 7:15, for the purpose of comparing and contrasting KJV and JST versions.

Following discussion
Chapter 8
- We are free of law's condemnation by the Spirit of Christ in us (vv. 1-14)
- we walk in Spirit not flesh, so problem in vv. 22-25 (KJV) goes away (vv. 1-4)
- carnal mind implies death, but spirit implies life (vv. 5-6)
- carnal mind cannot please God (vv. 7-8)
- spirit makes body dead, but body is quickened by Spirit of Christ (vv. 9-11)
- Spirit subdues (slays) deeds of body and we become sons of God (vv. 12-14)
