- Keep commentary centered on the text. Standard Works Commentary is a place to provide questions and exegesis about the text of the Standard Works. Even where a topic is directly relevant to the text, don't let the topic become the center of the commentary.
- Differing points of view among believing members of the Church should be addressed from a neutral position. Commentary should reflect these differing views fairly and sympathetically.
