Personal reflections[edit]
Cab you imagine being in his situation of being put to death for being christian. It really makes me grateful to live in a country that has freedom of religion. It makes me wonder if I would be strong enough to face possible death because I belived or would I buckle under pressure and lie just to spare my measley life. It makes you aware that he fully understood the meaning of his decisions not only in this life but in the life to come. His priorites and understanding of the gospel are far beyond mine own. It takes personal integriy to be Moroni. If you think about it, no one would have known if he would have denied christ but he knew that God would have known and that he himself would have known as well if he would have denied Christ. --Bhardle 02:45, 24 Oct 2005 (CEST)
Although it doesn't say much, the first chapter of Moroni is one of my favorites. Moroni's courage and willfull determination to stand up for what is right is one of the most inspiring parts of the Book of Mormon. The man is the only righteous brother left in the land and he has to flee from the Lamanites because he will not deny his testimony of Jesus Christ. The Lamanites would kill him if he didn't, so he escaped and went out on his own. I hope I could be that strong If I need to be, when the time comes. --User:Darthdunford83 12 Dec 2005
