On the contrary, his plan is to utterly destroy Israel, his vineyard (see [[2 Ne 15:5|2 Nephi 15:5-6]]). This same phrase is used four more times in 2 Nephi ([[2 Ne 19:12|19:12]], [[2 Ne 19:17|17]], [[2 Ne 19:21|21]] and [[2 Ne 20:4|20:4]]). The [http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah%205:25;&version=51; New Living Translation] translates this phrase from [[Isa 5:25|Isaiah 5:25]] as: "His fist is still poised to strike."
