Exegesis[edit]

Verse 1[edit]

  • Signpost here. Most comments should be entered like this.
  • Signpost here. That is, a subheading for each verse, and a bullet for each single-paragraph comment

Verse 2[edit]

  • Signpost here. Verses with only one comment will look like this.

Verse 3: Multi-pagrapraph exegesis[edit]

A multi-paragraph comment will look like this. A brief title should be used in the subheading to identify what the commentary is about. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

The second paragraph would be here: blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

  • If you want to add bullets to the multi-paragraph comment, they can be added like this.
  • Bullet 2

Concluding sentence of multi-pargraph comment.

Verse 3: Other exegesis[edit]

  • Signpost here. When there is a multi-paragraph comment for a verse, single-paragraph comments could be grouped together in a separate definition entry like this, with a title for the subheading that distinguishes it from other multi-paragraph commentaries for that verse.
  • Signpost here. Generally they should go after the multi-paragraph comment. This is because the better commentary is more likely to have better content, and should be listed first, but maybe this policy should be reversed.

Verses 3 - 15: Multi-verse exegesis[edit]

When there is commentary for multiple verses, it should be given its own subheading and ordered after the other subheadings for the first verse in the set of verses (since this multi-verse commentary starts with verse 3, this goes after all the other verse 3 subheadings). Usually only one comment will be made for such cases, so bullets do not need to be used (though they may be used).

Verse 4[edit]

  • Singpost here. Single comment here

Verse 5: Another multi-paragraph comment[edit]
