Personal Reflections
- Verse 11 Personally, I really enjoy verse 11 because it has helped me to remember that I need to remember the intent for which I do things, the reason why I go to church and partake of the sacrament, the reason why I strive for obedience and why I try to do Christ-like acts. There is much to be said for intent. What if we do service with the wrong intent of heart? Can we receive the blessings we need out of it if we do it with the wrong intent? I venture to say "no" in most cases because when we do something with the right intent, it allows our hearts to be touched. We need to be in a position to receive the blessings which God desires to give us.
