Hi Jarom, Regarding your question "Were these people part of the Nephite civilization?" The answer is yes. Remember these are people living in the same civilization as Pahoran, the chief judge of the Nephites (see verse 5). Given that, if I am understanding your question correctly the thrust of it is factual in nature, and it has now been answered I am going to remove the question. Travis. On 1 see verse 11: "swearing by their everlasting Maker, that they would tell no man that Kishkumen had murdered Pahoran." On 2, I believe the answer is in verse 9 "those people who were desirous that [Paanchi] should be their governor." --Matthew Faulconer 03:55, 27 Nov 2005 (UTC)
