Lamanites

The Lamanites were a very savage people, they had become warriors, and turned into one of the tools that the Lord uses to clean the earth, kind of how the Lord used Babalyon in the lands of the Old Testament. Why is it so important that we know of how the Lamanites were?

  • What on earth is this comment saying? --Mjberkey 21:17, 21 October 2007 (CEST)
  • Maybe it is a cryptic allusion to the Lamanites serving as a scourge (see 2 Ne 5:25). --Sterling 06:15, 22 October 2007 (CEST)

question removed.

Hi Travis, I removed your question:

  • Why does the Lord send Enos out to preach as soon as he grant him forgiveness?

I did so for two reasons

  • I didn't see anywhere (did I miss it?) where it says that the Lord sends Enos to preach.
  • I don't think that this verse 19 should be taken to imply that Enos went about preaching as soon as he was granted forgiveness. Remember Enos is summarizing his whole life in 27 verses. Given this I don't think we should assume that something written in a verse happens necessarily right after whatever happened in the previous verse. I don't think the scriptures tell us either way--whether he went to preach immediately or went preaching some time later.
