Out of weakness (v. 13)

Joe, I was wondering if D&C 1:19 might have this phrase (the "weakness" and "strong" phrases in v. 21 and v. 24 though seem quite different...) at least in part. Regardless, I think this is a crucial follow-up passage to consider regarding a prophetic calling (vs. a seer?), and as a follow-up to our Talk:D&C 1:16-20 discussion. (I think this chapter also raises a good issue that I think needs to be considered in terms of your Joseph-as-Gentile-prophet thoughts—that is, Joseph seems to be a Gentile, and yet of the house of Joseph and Ephraim...). --RobertC 19:11, 12 Oct 2006 (UTC)
