Exegesis

That the event takes place on the "Lord's day" is powerfully suggestive. The phrase only shows up elsewhere in D&C 59:12 as the day upon which, specifically, the sacrament is taken. Moreover, Acts 20:7 suggests that this day was broadly characterized among early Christians as the day of "break[ing] bread." In other words, there is a hint in verse 10 that John's revelation has something to do with the sacrament of the Lord's supper.
