Verse 18
- Peace been as a river. This phrase may be referring to the constant flowing nature of a river (cf. Isa 66:12).
- As the waves of the sea. This phrase may be referring to the power of the waves of the sea. Interestingly, Isa 57:20 uses a metaphor of tossing waves to describe the unrest that the wicked will experience.
