In 2004 I finished my PhD in economics at Carnegie Mellon University and started teaching corporate finance at BYU. This scripture project looks exciting and I'm anxious to contribute. Please don't hesitate to edit my posts and help improve my attempts to help.

- James E. Faulconer has posted his Sunday school lessons at the Times & Seasons blog (where he also posts many interesting thoughts). Jim is a philosophy professor at BYU (he has several interesting gospel-related essays posted on his homepage. He also has several interesting publications with FARMS (though my two favorite books of his aren't listed on that website: Romans 1: Notes and Reflections and Scripture Study: Tools and Suggestions. Jim's approach to the scriptures has been an inspiration to me, and I am glad he has agreed (without hesitation--"copyrighting anything to do with the scriptures seems strange, if not presumptious" was a rough paraphrase of his response) to let us post his questions on this site. And yes, Matthew is his son....
