While servivng a mission I think this passage of scripture meant the most to me because we were always persecuted for trying to do the right thing. People would always try to get us to stop telling them about religion and God. People would look at us funny, swear at us, ignore us, be rude to us, and so on. But this passage always comforted me as I realised that prophets in the past had it so much worse and they were so powerful of examples. Even though we weren't accepted at most places we went I still felt blessed and protected by the Lord.
