Technically anonymous edits are allowed on this website. That doesn't make editing this site for any purposes okay. As you can see on the home page, you are only invited to edit this website if you can abide by the Site:Policies.
If I leave something in my yard, the fact that it isn't locked down doesn't make it okay for you to take it. So the very fact that the site allows you to edit, doesn't make it okay for you to do it. You are only given permission to edit this site if you are honesly trying to improve the site and are abiding by the site policies.
Your comments to http://feastupontheword.org/Site:BYU on Sept 20th don't fit that description. These are considered vandalism.
