Talk:Mosiah 3:1-27
Can you imagine having a ruler that was as caring and selfless as king benjamin was. As he talks of of Christ and tells of his coming I was trying to think what it would be like to hear of ruler talking about these things today. King Benjamin spent all of his days serving the people being among them not above them. His example of of leadership and guidance is one of the best that we have. He shows the way that all leaders should follow. --Bhardle 10:42, 11 Sep 2005
Mdn32 made the following comment:
- Christ is the author of all great miracles. While he was on earth he taught the principle that "by their fruits ye shall know them." Using this understanding, the angel said to look to Christ and His miracles because by seeing the miracles or the fruits that he brought, we know that He is good. And by knowing what miracles He did, we can more easily recognize the miracles that He still performs for us today. I believe that many of us as members of the church tend to forget and not recognize the great miracles that are performed for us or through us each and every day. God is still a God of miracles, and the miracles have not ceased.
I think it's an interesting comment, but not directly related to these verses of scripture, so I'm pasting it on the discussion page. --RobertC 13:54, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)
eternity[edit]
Hi Rob, Can you explain your comment:
- In addition, the phrase "all eternity" is also used in Moses 7:41, where it seems to somewhat cryptically refer to a physical or spiritual plane beyond this earth.
I read the verse but didn't feel like I got a hint of eternity referring to a separate spiritual plane. Why do you think that?
